Dell Streak is the first western brand device released after the sudden explosion of demand for tablets. It is a crossbreed of a phone and a tablet in one sleek device, running Android 2.1 OS. Also, this is the first android device featuring a capacitive (rather then resistive) excellent five-inch 800 x 480 LCD display. The building quality is superb, leaving the generic Chinese devices way behind. Alse, the battery is pleasant surprise, with a effective endurance of 10 hours. However, the device is not cheap – if you are looking to buy it without contract, in the States you will have to shell out 550$ and even more if you live outside USA.
